Roma Edwards has organized artist talks and conducted interviews with performance artist and sculptor 011668, the former Minister of Culture for the Black Panthers Emory Douglas, punk stylist and zine maker Lana Jay Lackey, ethnomusicologist and music festival director Ryan C Clarke. She also conducted 10+ interviews with gay twitter “stans” for a critical ethnography.
Research
Roma has a degree from UCLA with a major in World Arts and Culture and a minor in Film. Her research focuses on interdisciplinary arts activism through the case studies of filmmaking, comics, and experimental art collectives.
